Entwined in grace an aurora dances in light
like a fairy princess lost in time that starts to flow
a door opens where steps unfold without hurry just floating
a subject changes like a leaf flickering in moon light's growing glow
and a clear day is born without labor as I see my son rise in a new stride
astounded and happy I find my steps that move motionless in splendor
words are spoken without haste emerging from a forgotten spring
for the first time as the day marks 1/3 and 2/3 around this
orbit where we each sit 1/4 apart at our own cusps
somehow there is no magic in this but yet
a carpet flows beneath my feet here
enjoying those two candles
lighting my path today
diamonds shining
with a smile
showing
where
love
is
