In this sacred passage
dark no more
even without a light
the calling comes near
as always it has been
the always open door
finally appears to be
what is has always been
and walking through
you find yourself
there where you are
no longer tethered
in one womb or the other
free at last to move again
no longer bound there
where you were never bound
and for a moment a new life
or a new death that is a new life
spins a veil that gives you
something new to see
as the wonder of what is
