Awake in this newly born moment
bravely laying open your wings
vulnerable enough to be alive
willingly you walk in joy
through dark shadows
that seem to threaten
but your instinct is to learn
to learn and grow and love
rather than running away in fear
a dreaming fairy upon sweet wings
you float your brave soul gracefully
across your world and even ours too
where we can see your shimmering
and take hope from your inspiration
knowing we all can move like you
if only we make the choice to be
as wisely centered in the storm
as the Linda that we all love
