Reborn on wings of love again
caressed by outstretched remembrance
entwined in earthly words spoken from inside
where they have no sound
but love's longing to be
and it does not weep in tone
but only cradles
and reflects
a life well lived
where love was given
and taken too
taken to a new riverlet
tailored as only he could do
for you
to gain a glimpse of yourself
in the reflecting pool of consideration
where you see him now still shining
but even brighter as his happiness glows
and while before you could not see him in the dawn
now you awaken to find him surrounding your heart
with the light of each new day
seeping into your awareness
the certainty that he
has only gone
as far as you've allowed yourself to see
